We have used ideas from the video for 'The People' by 'Common', which can be seen below. In this video, most of the performance shots are tracking shots on a rooftop, which we are going to use for the verses in 'I am Blessed.

We have also got inspiration from the video for 'Ugly' by 'Sugababes'. This can be seen below.

In this video, the "auditionees" hold boards up with the lyrics to the song, and we are going to get people on a busy London street, and ask them to hold up boards with the words, 'I Am Blessed' on throughout the video. This technique was first used in the video for Bob Dylan's song, 'Subterranean Homesick Blues'.

Another video that we got inspiration from was '2 Become 1' by 'Spice Girls'. In this video, the girls stand on a busy New York street, with everyone else around them in fast motion. We have chosen to recreate this shot on a busy London street for the lyrics, "Leave, all leave."

The last video that we have used ideas from is 'Dry Your Eyes' by 'The Streets'. This can be seen below.
In this video, Mike Skinner, the lead singer of the band, sits in a dark room, while the camera cuts to many different angles. We have chosen to sit Jamie in a studio, and film him from different angles, throughout.
