Post-Production Questionnaire

Today, we gave a screening of our music video to a group of 9 girls and 6 boys, aged between 17 and 18, the target audience for our music video. We then gave all 15 people a post-production questionnaire to get feedback. An example of the questionnaire that we gave out can be seen below.

1. Are you male or female?

2. How old are you?

3. What did you enjoy most about the music video?
[] Rooftop shots [] People holding signs [] Final montage section [] Other (please state) _______________________

7. Were there any shots or angles that you particularly liked?
[] 360 degree shot of Jamie [] Extreme close up of Jamie's mouth [] Rooftop shots [] Other (Please state) ___________________

For question number 3, the results are shown below. As you can see, the vast majority of people enjoyed the people holding signs most about our music video.

For question number 4, the vast majority of people said that they would buy or download the track, with some saying they "really like the song", and "it's really catchy". The few who wouldn't buy the song, all said that it was "not my taste in music". The results can be seen below. For question number 5, a third of the people we asked said that our video didn't go with the track, with one saying that there were "areas of improvement", which was a bit upsetting, as we put so much work in to it. However, everyone else said that our video did go with the track, with one person saying that "the song is about appreciating what you have, and the video ends on a really happy note." The results of this question can be seen below.

For the 6th question, most people said that they could relate to the band, which is really good, as we wanted the band to be easily relatable. Some people who said they could relate to the band, said their reasons were that "they're young and living in London". People who said that they couldn't relate to the band, said that they didn't "know what it was like to live in a council estate". This kind of response is culture-biased, and would hopefully not be found in most schools.

For the 7th question, people generally liked the rooftop shots and the extreme close-ups of Jamie the best. The results of this question can be seen below.
